I will host a basic blog on here to make longer posts, as well as host some links to other stuff I work on on the sidebar.
I've started working on a new video about Sonic today, sort of half-returning to the topic after making part of a video about Sonic last year.

The new one will be about Sonic 06 and more broadly about what made me love the franchise as a kid and the things I would love to see return in the future. There's generally, like, WAY too much negativity out there online about 06 so I want to provide a counterpoint which highlights the things about the game I love. I've played the game quite a few times in the past few months (and I'll probably play through it again by the time I finish the video :3) so I have a pretty good idea of what exactly I enjoy so much about the game.
I've also decided to start working on a PuyoPuyo video for the first game on the Genesis. This one is more of a psuedo let's play idea, not sure what to call it. In short it's a slightly edited playthrough where I give a background of what Puyo is, how to play it, what's satisfying about it, and why I really love this game. I mean, that one's simple, because it's just a cute and fun game, haha.
My last idea for a video right now is essentially a Japanese grinding video where I try and maximize the amount of Japanese I read/listen during the month. It wont be as extreme as I make it sound because I'll still prioritize hanging out with people to stay social, which will obviously be in English. But everything media related will be Japanese! I think it'll be fun, and I've wanted to have a grind period again for Japanese which I can work into other hobbies.
Other than videos I've been dabbling with some music making again, as well as some drawing, but my plans aren't as grand for those other than to enjoy doing them, haha. I think I can work both of those into the videos for fun. I actually want to draw a lot more as of late, but it's a matter of consciously setting some time for it in my day, which is a little more difficult than I thought when I got a sketchbook. Regardless I can't see myself dropping it on a whim at this point because I have a goal which nags at me (which is to draw sonic characters well lol).
